Hi All,
I'm about to do an update of my printed portfolio having just picked up one of the Canon 13x19 printers.
I'd like to be able to switch pages in or out by simply printing a new double sided page.
Given this will be a long term investment with changes over years, I'd like to pick a paper stock that I could guess will be around in a couple of years
My basic brief is
- double sided
- 250-300gsm
- semi matt or semigloss
- Finished page size of 11x11.25 inches (Opening will be a 11x22 page)
Any suggestions on positive or negative experiences. I've had a brief look at the Moab Lasal and this looks like reasonably goods starting poing.
Cheers
Andrew

Try Entrada Rag Natural 300, http://moabpaper.com/entrada-rag-natural-300/

I printed a small book on the Lasal Photo Matte and it looked very nice. The paper handled both color and b+w well. I used a lighter weight paper (not sure the specs) though.

I've not heard of any semi matt or semigloss double sided papers, isn't lasal matte? If you are considering a matte option, Canson Rag Photographique Duo and Hahnemuehle Photo Rag Duo are both great.

Moab has their Lasal Dual Sided Semi-Gloss. There are very few double sided luster/semi-gloss/gloss papers out there now. Most of them are double sided matte.
Moab's 13x19 Semi-gloss product number- F01-LSD330131925
Also, the Moab Entrada Rag 300gsm "R08-ERN300131925" would be another good option (matte finish) as well as Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 308gsm "10641436" (matte finish)
Canson's product will be another good option. It depends on how you want it to look since each person has their own preference.
