Title: Canon iPF6300: internal circuit breaker, fuse?
Post by: Ellis Vener on July 16, 2014, 10:54:42 pm
My Canon iPF6300 imagePROGRAF , which has been a workhouse for the past few years, just  died a sudden death few minutes ago. death being defined as : not powering up after a shut down ,>wait> and restart cycle due to a Multi-sensor error  message.  I have check my AC feed  (AC mains > UPS > printer. Both the mains feed and UPS are good)

And  what the heck does the multi-sensor do anyway and how do I fix it, if I can get the beast back to running?

A call to Canon tech support (USA) helped diagnose the problem as  a dead internal power supply and suggested that was the casue of the error messages as well.
