The big ears are a very large part of their temperature regulation system.  Thanks for looking and for your comments.

Possibly a little more contrast in the bottom half of the image? Overall a winner. :)

What a fantastic photo.

+1  Not only a fantastic photo but an illustration of two important adaptations that help prey species avoid predators, namely excellent hearing and peripheral vision.

Beyond the ears, look at the eyelashes and whiskers: nice!
