Took this in Albion Basin last week. Snow has finally melted. These young plants caught my eye. Comments??

I can see why you darkened the distant view and brightened the foreground. It's a very nice interpretation. I would have preferred more light in the distant view so that the young plants would be echoed (color and brightness) by the trees on the hilltops. I think that would tie the scene together more strongly.

Thanks for the critique. Here's another one of the same plants close up and in black and white.

Chuck

Really enjoyed your image - it has a magical quality, as if it is one great stage set - I expect animated figures to pop in from the left at any moment - the background made me think of that landscape which hovers in the background of the Mona Lisa.

For what it might be worth - I think it is terrific.
