Title: Greetings from Monschau
Post by: thierrylegros396 on May 31, 2014, 01:16:34 pm
Monjoie (Monschau) is located at about 30km from home.

So, why not going there with my bike ?!

That was the first time I visited the old town.

Hope to go there another day preferably not the W-E.

Enjoy

Beautiful, quintessentially European location. You seem to have captured it well on a fine day. Nice arc to the river in the first with that bit of stone ruin on the hill.

I think the radio tower above the trees and the antenna on the stone ruins should go, though - a bit of cloning to clean up the modern distractions. As well, when you are there next, consider adding more foreground by tilting down and/or using a wider lens. A wider lens would also help to complete the "Ca" word on the right. It doesn't need to be complete, but a few more letters may be enough to tell us what it is.

Ca is a Café :D :D

The word was complete until I use the vertical correction tool of Lightroom ;)

The situation was difficult because of some works in progress and it was not possible the go backward.

So it's a trade-off as often.

Have a Nice day.

I like them a lot, even with the missing letters! The only thing that I didn't like is the wall at the bottom of the second image. It's either too little or too much.
