Another one from my Cape travels...

A nice shot of this beautiful district but the quite strong moiré at the roof disturbs me a lot.

Ageed. This looks like caused by the downsampling. If you use Photoshop, try to apply a slight gaussian blur before resizing and then sharpen

Thanks Harald and Francisco
Definitely a downsampling issue - Lightroom "Moire" in Brush Mode had no effect. I tried the blur in PS - maybe overdid it a bit!
Thanks!

You have captured the essence of place with this photograph. The big sky, dramatic mountains and a nod to Cape Dutch architecture. All you need are some vineyards (perhaps visible on the distant slopes in a larger view!). Nicely done, William.
Even without the title I was instantly transported back in time and place to the Western Cape (and to the fond memories of two of the best trips our family has ever taken - flying into Cape Town, renting a car, and B&Bing our way around the province with our young daughter).
Thanks for sharing.
