Not posted anything here for ages, although I do look in periodically to see what everyone's been up to. I've just started using Silver Efex and quite like it so thought I'd post up one of my first efforts with it, Loch Hourn in Scotland taken a couple of years ago on a walking holiday.

That is one terrific photo. I particularly like the way things sort of fade into mystery on the right - but with lovely tones.

Well done. You managed to balance the composition rather nicely, with the white cloud set as a counterweight to the heavy, dark mountain.
-
Great depth. Love the crop, too.

Great shot - I don't like the messy border, though.
If you've only just started to use SFX Pro, you're in for a real treat. It's a wonderful piece of software. One of my regrets is that I didn't buy it sooner.

Very likeable and it would look nice hung on one of your walls.
-
Wonderful interplay between light and dark.

Thanks for the comments, guys. Yes the border is a bit naff - just me playing about and looking for something different, looking back on it I don't even like it myself :D

Brilliant except for the border (but it's an easy fix).
