Title: Replacing Canon 9500 (low end perspective)
Post by: Deepsouth on May 16, 2014, 08:38:47 pm
The price/performance experience of my 9500 Mk I is dropping. I suspect that every driver update is making is it use more ink. I have not printed a photo-quality 13 x 19 or tabloid in ages. I mainly use it for greeting cards and therefore need only 8.5 x 11 printing (legal would be nice).

I am looking for a desktop that does not necessarily have to give the highest image quality but is consistent and uses less-expensive ink. A dye-based system is fine. Don't need an all-in-one, we have good scanners. I realize this is almost a bottom-feeder topic for this forum, but I would appreciate your thoughts.
