Title: A LR/PS alternative - Zoner Photo Studio [free today]
Post by: jjj on May 15, 2014, 10:45:47 am
Don't ever recall this ever being mentioned during all the hoo-haa over Adobe CC subscription. Anyway if you still hate CC and want to try something else you can try Zoner Photo Studio (http://www.zoner.com/en/cnet-special-offer) for nothing today.
Win only though it seems.
Looks like someone combined LR + PS into one programme.

Not clear.  Is this free free, or a free 30 day trial?

Hi,

I haven't tried it myself, but I assume it's free free, because it seems to be for the 'older' version 15, and they hope you will upgrade to the more recent (version 16) one ...

Cheers,
Bart

Even if you pay to upgrade ($89) it seems like a hell of a bargain.  Allegedly it is LR and PS rolled into one and does everything short of making your morning coffee.  Would love to hear from anyone who has given it a test run.

Sadly, it has what I call "The Gap" in the supported cameras list . .

Samsung NX210
Samsung NX1000

Sony DSC-RX1
Sony DSC-RX10

(missing Sigma)
