Title: Eigg
Post by: KMRennie on May 13, 2014, 12:34:48 pm
Taken from Bay of Laig on Eigg NW Scotland. After a dull start the sun started to burn through the cloud. Fuji XE-1, Big stopper, Soft ND grad. I like the softly breaking waves and the tourqoise sea. The mountains on the next island Rum are still hidden and never showed themselves completely throughout the day. Definateley a place to return to someday.

It's very pleasantly serene, and the sky adds just a touch of drama. The only thing I find a little disturbing is the rather monolithically black rock on the left: can it be lightened just a little, perhaps?

Thanks for pointing out what should have been obvious to me Jeremy. I have removed the adaptive wide angle filter and subsequent crop and returned to a more letter box crop which now appears better to my eyes. Any comments
