Todd...I love the colors, blue, green, tans, and grays...and the geometry of the lines and the scratches...nice subject. I 'm not sure your framing (1:1.5?) is ideal thing though...maybe slightly wider.../B

I like it a lot. It could be a bit wider, but only if you have more on the sides. I wouldn't want to lose any of the top or bottom.

If you're considering cropping, consider a slight rotation to make the main top-bottom line more diagonal from bottom right to top left. If you're really adventurous, try flipping it horizontally after the rotation. If it' scan abstract, there should be no harm in being radical!

Thanks for the input.
Vr-01 is as I shot it, full frame (35MM) so there is no more width in the capture. Vr-02 is a wee bit off the top and less off the bottom. The little circle thing was way too bothersome for me that close to the edge on top so I took it out.

Here is what I mean. Apologies if I have ruined your initial intent and vision.

(BTW - I tried to do this in LrM, but could not find where I could horizontally flip or do the Lens corrections necessary - still a tool in progress).

:) No Apologies - I will play with your example too. While you were doing your example, I did this with your suggestions:
