Title: Canon ipf8300 owners - new firmware released 04-28-2014

Canon ipf8300 owners - new firmware released yesterday 04-28-2014. You need the Firmware Update Tool to update. Also new status monitor for Windows released 04-07-2014. Based on timing, probably related to Heartbleed patch, but I don't know that for certain.

Maybe I'm confused, but it seems like it has the same version number as last years update. Have you found any info on what is new about it?

I think they've just made the Firmware Update Tool and Firmware files available separately.
