San Francisco, 1968

Very funny! The vase made it!

Now you're sucking diesel, Russ - great shot, fantastic observation, structure and timing. I love the young, reflected guy between the two bent heads. He thinks it's all behind him, and has no clue about what lies ahead. As for the vase, there could be the remains of a cremation in there!
Terrific.

Have not even noticed that (the sandwiched reflections, that is)... now that you mentioned it, it adds another layer to the image for me.

I heartily concur. :)

Thanks all. It's been a long time since I walked the streets of San Francisco with my old M4 and 50mm Summicron. Used to love that town -- before it became so "progressive" that it sort of floated away from the mainland. There are more where this came from. Here's one.

Hear! Hear!

Snapshooter is terrific, but SF 1968 is truly amazing, for the points mentioned already, as well as the fact that every item around the periphery adds something to the whole bizarre scene. Way to go, Russ!

Nice, Russ. I'm sorry I can't provide more than that, but it's a pleasure to take these shots in.

Thanks for sharing, Russ. The first one is great, and I love the 'what the hell is she doing?' look in the second one.
Mike.
