Title: The Pestroyer Rides Again
Post by: Todd Suttles on April 20, 2014, 10:25:23 am
Finding this made me smile. Asking if anyone else finds it humorous/interesting and preference of V or H. Plus anything else of course. Thanks, -t (I prefer V)

Great shot! I think it qualifies as "Street Landscape."  ;)

I vote for the vertical.

I'll take the vertical too. Good shooting.

Large and small the vertical tells a better story.

I'm not convinced the upper story window adds anything to the story. In fact, although it is e apex of a triangle - so important in composition - I find the upper story window draws my eye away from the interplay of elements at ground level. So, I actually see a square format using the bottom 2/3s of the vertical composition.

Also try adding some Clarity to add some local contrast and texture to what is predominantly flat lighting.

I didn't even consider this but I like it.
