Title: Lightroom catalog cannot be opened....

"LR cat named X cannot be opened because another application already has it opened. Quit the other copy of LR before trying to launch. "

Tried this even after a restart. No go.
I know I have a backup that likely doesn't include the most recent (week, often put off to bi+weekly backups), but whats the problem?


And since now I am forced to use the backup, I guess I can simply move it to the standard catalog location, But can I simply rename it to something else?

Look in your catalog folder and delete the .lock and -journal files, then open lightroom.
