Hi all
I use a Macbook Air with LR 4 and now LR 5 loaded on the internal hard drive. I have all my photographs and catalog on an external HD. I use superdooper to clone HD1 to HD2. I never really looked at HD2, other than to make sure the images are in the catalog. A few days ago, I used HD2 with LR. I made sure that LR was pointed to the new catalog. The problem is that the catalog can not seem to find the images. It shows the .nef images, without a question mark - but when I try to export the image, I get an error message that LR can not find the image. I assumed SuperDuper would clone the second HD exactly as HD1. I must be missing something simple or made a trivial mistake. Suggestions or comments....
thanks. Charlie

Hi Charlie,
Please clarify what you mean when you say you made sure LR was pointing to the new catalogue.

SuperDuper should have made a perfect clone and double clicking on the catalog on that drive should launch LR and find all the files. I suspect maybe LR isn't opening the catalog on the cloned drive.
