Title: Automating Customer Image Requests?
Post by: novascotiaskier on March 09, 2014, 01:48:58 am
I get a list of photos that a client wants, and it might be 157 images out of 3,000 that I captured.

I currently manually find, and then copy the files to another folder (I'm on a Mac), where I then compress them into a ZIP and send them to a client.  I'm looking for a way to automate the process. Since I get a file with the file names, I was thinking an Applescript that will read the list, and I can point it to both the source folder and the target folder, and "Bob's your uncle",  I'm done.  But I cannot find any such script and I do not know Applescript myself.

Which leads to my question: How are others handling image requests from clients?

Note: I do, on occasion, use LR, but I use PS and Bridge, and am quite happy with these for almost everything.

thanks,

-Scott.
