As always, critique and suggestions welcome.

*EDIT I had some problems with the link and my archive and ended up linking a slightly different version. I'm trying to get the original back. Apologies.

Spectacular! I probably stared at it for a full minute, soaking it in.
My eye wants to wander a little further to the right, past where the sunlit cloud touches the edge of the frame. If that is not possible, slightly darkening that little piece of cloud might help.

No critique here. Really strong.

Thanks for the comments guys.
The version that is posted now is my attempt to get a bit of room on the right and deal with the halo. It wasn't actually a halo but rather some overdone burning on my part (assuming I went after what Chris was addressing). I'm still trying to recover the original post for comparison.

It's just fine as it is.

Yup - much better now, though I would really eliminate this Halo-like thing completely.

Wonderful light and clouds, with the trees providing a sense of scale.

Agreed. Well done!

First word that came to mind was "epic". I think it is fantastic how you captured the sense of scale. Great work!

Thanks everyone for the suggestions and kind words. Much appreciated. As usual I learned in the process. :)
