1979 Santa Cruz ... the arch is long gone ...
-
I'm not a fan of blurry foregrounds but the wave crashing on the arch is awesome.

Well this was 30+ years ago :-) --- and a 135mm Nikkor on a Bronica -- probably needed a wide angle -- it was ASA 50 film -- setting sun -- At least the wave under the arch is what I was after >> maybe should just crop..
thanks for looking ...

That was my thought too - the image needs cropping to work.

Much better, but unfortunately you have this unfixable problem
on the left with this cut arc.
I think either crop it as well or live with it.
Initially I think you tried to get too many things on the frame.

I was really just after the arch and the rolling waves ...
Just scanning daily -- happened upon this neg on the neg sheet, from '79
Probably not fixable ...I have multitudes of images to scan ....

Shit happens ... keep on scannering ;)

This may sound harsh, but you should consider being more ruthless in your editing before scanning so that you have more time to spend on the really high quality photographs.

Can't really see anything but a small 2in negative... and I have many books to go > so I have to at least scan it to see whats there :-)
