Here is one from last weekend - near perfect winter days of sunshine mixed with the odd snow squall; cold enough that you don't sweat while cross-country skiing, yet warm enough that your nose hairs don't freeze.
This was shot up near the Beaver Valley area of Ontario - south of Collingwood/Thornbury.

Beautiful subtle colors.
We can see an unspectacular, mundane subject in the right light with subtle postprocessing makes it all.

Very fine job with the light Terry. It's nice to see that snow falls vertically somewhere in Canada.
