Title: Snow Vines
Post by: Todd Suttles on February 13, 2014, 09:03:25 pm
This is two of three I have shot during the Snow Event in Georgia (USA) over the last couple days. I'm not sure what to do with the color in this one. Something is off and I don't know what to fix. Suggestions would be nice. I am also posting another shot showing more of the scene. I like it better, but the phone lines are too much. Guess I could take them out. Will wait to see what general consensus is.

As always, comments, suggestions and critiques are very much appreciated. Thanks, -t

I find the color of the first one a bit off-putting. I would process it just the way you did the second, or just straight black and white.
In the second, I agree that the phone lines should go (healing brush).

These are both quite nice. A also like your third snow photo, with the fence, trees, and ominous sky (in another thread). I like the drama in that one a lot.

Todd, the second image has some potential as subject...if you still have snow cover and some sun and you can get back I would try it some more...and also try going in tighter...i.e...explore.  /B
