Not entirely satisfied with the background on this...what say you all?

That's a striking photo, but ... of what? I am intrigued.

It's a macro droplet showing a flower...

I am in awe of your technique. Is that an orchid in the background? I must say that I find the greens a bit harsh, I wonder if you toned them down a bit if might be better - worth trying, I think.

This is a wonderful image with oodles of potential.
My only thought might be to tone down the whole background a bit and leave that wonderful drop of water as the undoubted centrepiece.
It may not work but it might be worth a try.

It's pretty fantastic to me. I can't imagine how you get the droplet to stay still in mid air long enough to focus so precisely and expose.

I'm curious too. This image is stunning but I would be eager to learn more about your setup as I've never tried my hand at that kind of photography.

Background is too strong/distracting. Brilliant concept though.

I kinda hesitate to share my technique until I have it nailed down a lot more better. ;D

Does it involve CGI? :P
(Don't answer this - it's purely rethorical ...)
Great shot!

It's the feeling I get too.
