Very good, Chris: the central light is really lovely. I wonder if a slightly longer exposure, to smooth the water just a little more, might have been beneficial.

The central light is from the water being illuminated by the morning sun.
I shot after a wave when the water was retracting and water still splashed in the air.

I am still experimenting with this.
Generally I am not a friend of too silky water.
For flowing water 1/20th of a second is generally good,
but I also go down to a 1/125th When I want some shape and freeze and I will go down to even 1/2000th under certain conditions.
I have planned to explore waves and the sea more - easy here in northern Germany with the baltics and the northern sea nearby.

Beautiful. I like the composition of this image more than Flow 1. There's really nice layering at play here, and the spray gives it a sense of movement.

Funny - this is exactly the reason why I personally like Flow No.1 a lot - its a more complicated composition, more difficult to balance out.
This one here is much simpler - which is nice and good, but much less of a challenge.

I agree with Jeremy, Chris, but I think the water is smooth enough.
