I like the upper part where you have the dark warmth of the rocks against the dark cool of the sea.

Concerning light: It was about 20-30 minutes after sunrise.

1/20th of a second gave me what I needed after some tests (god bless digital), and indeed: I was watching the waves and the rocks spitting out the water they had swallowed before to get the right moment to shoot.

Beautifully exposed. The water glows beautifully, and the patterns in the surf at the bottom are fantastic.

This is processed from Raw entirely in LR.
The contrast and color wouldn't be tameable from a jpeg.
