Certainly very nice, but to my taste a bit over sharpened.

The sharpening gets worsened by Flickr shrinking the image.
This one should look a bit less oversharpened:

Very nice. I'd be tempted to clone out the two blurred sticks in the centre right, sticking up above the horizon.

The unsharp behind layer of grass is left intentional for threedimensionality - if you mean that.
I chose f-stop accordingly when I took it to have exactly that effect

But I mean that the grass-like plants are not exactly grasses, but close relatives called "rushes" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juncaceae).

This is of no consequence unless you display this in a botanic garden.

I see - so its a language problem.
I thought you wanted to say I was rushing this image and being sloppy.
