Thanks for posting the link, Chuck.
Chuck Kimmerle is that rare individual who is not only a great photographer but can also write well about photography and what he thinks.

I hadn't known about his blog, but I will now check on it regularly. The only problem is that I agree with virtually everything he says!

Cliché images are the comfortable old shoes of photography.  In their pre-approved beauty, they allow the photographer to avoid all the discomfort of aesthetic self doubt.
