You've certainly found your thing, as it were...
You won't want to hear this, but I can imagine those things shot on 120 roll panoramic cameras... stunning, would be the word that comes to mind.
I know that cost is a huge factor in my personal perspective on photography today, that digital capture makes so much possible, but having said that, coming home the other afternoon with the equivalent of at least four or five rolls of 6x6, and considering the miserable return from that in terms of images I can be bothered to spend time processing, the amateur-forced, would-be discipline of film is an ever-returning feature in my thought processes. Yes, of course discipline comes from within, but it's impossible not to shoot the 'might be worth it' shots, even whilst knowing the while that they won't be. Unfortunately, 35mm film's no better as a control.
Perhaps that's one of the things about my am. status that truly annoys me: the sense that I find myself perfectly able to shoot crap; stuff that has absolutely nothing in its favour for which to be raised above its natural status of being ignored. Sadly, it all comes down to Donovan again.

Riaan could try to get a used Zeiss Ikonta for this kind of shots and let film be developped and scanned in a lab.
Would surely be interesting.
