Title: epson 9900 blocked green channel finally cleared with CLF-007p fluid
Post by: dgberg on January 29, 2014, 11:25:30 am
Have had a 75% blockage on my green channel since Saturday.
All the standard pairs cleanings, control image prints and nozzle checks and nothing.
In service mode I started with CL1 and eventually to CL4 with no response.
Finally thought I would try something I saw on YouTube some time ago.
Took my Inkjet Cleaning Fluid and semi saturated a towel. Shut the machine down in service mode and slid the head to the center of the carriage.
Put the fluid soaked towel under the head and left it there for around 4 hours. Before removing it I grabbed both ends and lightly slid the towel back and forth over the head. (Do at your own risk.)
Started up in service mode did a CL1 pairs clean then the control image and finally a nozzle check.
Came out perfect the first time.
All I can say is how do you spell relief. R E L I E F
