I don't know why I like this - I just like it and this is why I post it.
Cheers

It has considerable charm. I remember photographing several similar scenes in Italy a few years back.

For me it imparts a feeling of simpleness, both in living and in labour. You can almost smell the fresh sent of detergent. Technically it's flawless though a bit more saturation wouldn't hurt a few select articles of laundry.

I like all of the different shapes, colors and textures. Shot with the Fuji?

Yes.
Shot during my winter holidays in Mallorca, when I took a day in Palma.

Are you using JPGs straight from the camera Chris or shooting RAW? I purchased an X-E2 shortly before Christmas, have the camera set to record both JPG and Raw and find myself using the JPG file in most cases.

I'm shooting both, the Jpegs set to Velvia emulation, but I work on the RAW files.
Many of my files are heavily altered though I try to let them look not overcooked.
The presented image here has some very heavy perspective correction on it, but I left saturation natural -
both sliders (Vibrance and Saturation) are at Zero.

Is the reason for shooting both to use the JPG for a reference?

Yes. I want to have a way to know what the camera "thought".
But in fact I rarely look at them.

Good shooting, Chris.
