I'm missing the Dorothy connection, unless we're not in Kansas anymore.  Does that stump take high octane?

Mike.

I like the image a lot.
Despite that I allowed myself to re-edit it.
Basically I applied a blurred background and darkened it to let the station stand out more.
I also did a little local dodging and burning.

Cheers

The allusion is weak but referenced more to the "man behind the curtain" than Dorothy; emphasizing all the hidden manipulation that has brought the price of gas back then ($1.11) to what it is today.

Thanks!
If you flip between the versions you can track what I did to it and see the local adjustments as well (e.g. tube and engine parts, threedimensionality on the wood block).
Sometimes its just some small edits which make it finally sing.
This is an image I'd be proud of had I taken it.
