An sunset image from the top of Mt. Randall at Warren Dunes State Park in southeast Michigan. Canon EOS 6D, Canon 17-40 f/4 L.

I like the repeated and varied horizontals, and a good sky. Not so sure about the horizon in the middle.

It works. Nicely.

Thank you. Although it isn't all that high, it's a trek to get there. From the campground where we stayed, it's a very steep hike of few hundred feet of loose sand. Great workout (especially with loaded camera backpack in tow!). This place and the image brings back a lot of memories from my childhood. I spent a lot of summers climbing to the top of Mt. Randall. But, I never considered it like is seen in this image. And, now from this very spot, you can see the Chicago skyline from over 70 miles away. Couldn't do that 20 years ago.
