Title: One location, two shots
Post by: batmura on January 19, 2014, 01:46:57 pm
These images were shot two months apart. In the first one, my intention was to emphasize the sky. In the second one, which I just took a couple of hours ago, I experimented with auto-bracketing because the sky was rather bland and I wanted to shoot something without an ND filter.  C&C welcome.

They're both good IMHO.

Yes - both good.

What comes to my mind:
You have shown a lot of these beautiful colorful seaside images.
And you are living in Istanbul - a totally incredibly awesome city.
What about changing subject a little and show some street shooting?

Just asking ... ;)

Cheers

Sure -- but he's awfully good at this.

I like the movement in #2.

Yes, both different but so nice. I tend to prefer warmer images like the second one but the first is just on par [with #2].

I definitely prefer the second image with lovely warm tones and a naturally balanced sea and sky.

I like the second one a lot. The water still has some definition and the sky is gorgeous.
Thanks for letting us have a look.
