Title: Forest Pictures

I regularly visit this forest (Stonor, near Henley-on-Thames) as it's one of my favourite locations. Any critique much appreciated.

The first 3 pictures are from a D600 with 24 and 28mm AFD lenses, the fourth from an A7 with kit lens and the last from an RX10 (The camera that I own) which is why the technical quality differs between them.

All very nice.

Nits: the road in #2 doesn't help. #4: clone out the grey object in the foreground?

Apart from the already mentioned nits I very much like how you processed these images.

Scott,
The photos are good, but for me fog invokes a certain moodiness (gloominess), and I personally feel the first two are too bright as presented.

My favourite is the last one. There is a nice contrasting feeling between the coldness and the shining sun.

Lovely series of a beautiful location with great atmosphere. I would love to see more three-dimensional depth, though, as, despite your use of wide angles, the forest seems "over there" as opposed to me, the viewer, being in it. Perhaps more foreground would help create this. Of course, this is entirely my own interpretation. The photos as they are, are wonderful.
