Title: SA 21/4 : DOF and infinity focus

Hi, just wondering if the DOF scale on the super angulon 21/4 (Schneider/Leica) is accurate or if it is just my sample? Also, with wide angle shots I like to have the distant background as sharp as possible: what factors influence its sharpness?
