Title: SOLD: Broncolor Topas A2 power pack in very good condition
Post by: gubaguba on January 13, 2014, 03:00:04 pm
I have two Broncolor Topas A2 power packs for sale.  They were pulled from a studio for a retail jewelry store.  They were never rentals or taken on location.  Sat in the studio and used typically four months out of the year.  They are in excellent condition and work without issue.  These packs allow you to control to 1/10 a stop variable.  Very consistent output and color throughout the power range. Included is the power cable and sync cord.   Price is $1100 net to me plus shipping to your location.

I have sold here, Fredmiranda, and ebay (user: gubaguba) am located in New Jersey zipcode 07732 shipping weight is approximately 22 lbs.

Sold in 2 hours on Ebay for more money.

I am unsure what the recycle time is they are pretty past 2-3 seconds maybe.  I rarely shot at full power I was almost always at minimum power. I have sold all the heads so I cannot say for sure.

Broncolor list the recycle time at 1.3 seconds at full power.

Thanks.

Wish they were 220V, great deal for those of you in the U.S.

It is my understanding that the power pack automatically adjust for voltage between 100-240v.  I think all you need is a different power cord.  I would have to call Broncolor to be 100% but if there was interest I could do that.

Thanks

It would be marked on the bottom with the voltages. The doc has multiple voltages listed though. It is worth asking!

So bottom of the pack indicates that is Bi-Voltage a call to Broncolor USA confirms that it will work from 100-240 volts.  Some limitations on the low end below 120 volt.  No issues with the pack itself change voltage, however modeling bulbs in heads may be specifically 120 or 220 volts so those need to be changed.  This has a 120 volt for North American voltage you would need another cord for your particular situation.

Thanks
