Hi I'm new here and I apologize if this has been covered before but I"m at a desperate complete loss on what to do/or not to do to fix this issue.
My prints are coming out horrendously. Streaks, very little color...you name it and that's what I have - all bad news.
To remedy:
1. I cleared the heads and the print test comes out perfect.
2. I did the print head alignment because the text even prints out very very blurry.
And still no luck. I'm uploading examples. Anyone have any suggestions?!
Thx in advance.

Here's a print out of the text...all blurry.

As the test prints look OK, and even the text on the test prints seems OK I'd say there ain't anything wrong with the printer.
You don't say what OS/System setup you're using, but have you tried reinstalling the printer driver? Check cabling etc. USB drivers?

what quality settings are you using? I’ve seen something similar when printing at 360dpi.

I KNOW RIGHT?! the print test page comes out looking like a gem! ::) ::) ::)
Yes, I reinstalled the print driver from epson (10-2013)
I'm on Mac OSX Mavericks.

I reinstalled the EPson drivers...still no luck. Arghhhh

hmmmm
My Epson 3880 is running just fine under OS 10.9.1 with latest driver so I'd be inclined to check for Os or system faults.
Have you tried USB and/or Ethernet checks? http://support.apple.com/kb/PH11342 (http://support.apple.com/kb/PH11342)

I have had similar results when I've printed on the wrong side of the paper or using the wrong paper presets in the printer setup.
