Rough draft of a shot from last night.
Merced River Boulders and Spider Webs - van Wagtendonk Beach, El Portal, CA

Beautiful light and colours and shapes. Have you considered toning down the saturation, it seems a bit intense. Also, you may want to consider cropping (or choosing a similar capture) to place the foreground rocks more off-centre to create more "movement" in the composition.
This might also do well in B&W given the light, shapes and tones. Lots to work with here depending on your initial intentions. A great capture, well seen.

Good image, plenty to look at, and everything comes together.
-
It pictures nicely the tranquil mood of the place - well done!
-
Lovely scene, so peaceful.
Another vote for slightly less saturation.
Centered foreground rocks do not bother me at all.
-
Nice scene, I think it's slightly oversaturated tho.

Hey that's my back yard. Nicely done.
van Wagtendonk Beach - Yes I know the van Wagtendonks - nice people. You certainly don't need Red Bud to get a good shot of the Merced.

Thanks for the comments everyone. HSakols, have we met? Jan and Margene are my inlaws, I owe much of what I am as a photographer to them (not to mention the love of my life).
-
Yes, I believe we have met. I sent you a PM.

Getting close to finished...for now.

Someone mentioned tranquillity, I will add beauty.
Depending on the light, it seems overcast and possibly damp as well, I personally would not criticise the saturation of the image.
Well done.
