Last few days I had too much time on my hands, so I decided to test my Rollei for rainforest conditions.

At first the cold lenses had to acclimatize...

Once warmed up, things went better!

Stitch from 6 shots with the Zeiss 40mm


The small Begonia flowers in the first image can been seen at the top, in the middle.

Some nice leafs.

120mm and 60mm curtagon c/w extension tube respectively.

Some marvellous detail with the 120mm and 1,4 longar

shots combined with 100% crops

Last two, 90mm and 1.4 longar with 17mm ext tube in between.


All shots taken of my home built paludarium (combined fish and frog/reptile tank).

Some more leafs - I really enjoy nature's abundance of leaf form.

Love these, nice composition of a difficult subect to photograph in an interesting way. Great use of DoF, I love the shots where the viewer has to look around the photo for the point of focus. Lovely camera too.
