In addition:

The Flat Field plugin discussed has other equivalents than Capture One's version of it. RawTherapee has it integrated (for RAWs) and for Tiffs you could Robin Myers' Equalight 3.

Yes, and Anders' new HDR software Lumariver. It can bring in a raw file, apply the flat field, then save back out as dng.
