Title: Epson 2400 paper feeding problems
Post by: Tuli on December 04, 2013, 09:38:15 pm
My Epson stylus 2400 stopped feeding the paper and the rollers turn idle. It either doesn’t get hold of the paper, or if it does after many attempts or after me pushing the paper slightly, it pulls the paper all the way thru, out, and damages the paper. It doesn’t print the test. The orange light keeps blinking.
I tried disconnecting all connections for a while or night, I tried cleaning the rollers with a dump cloth based on Epson’s directions. Epson Tech said that if this didn’t help the cleaning sheets won’t help wither. He couldn’t help me resolve the problem. I couldn’t find anything helpful in the menu. I desperately need help ASAP! Thanks a million.

Mine does the same. (3880 and R2000) Esp with matte papers. Started acting up after 3 or 4 thousand prints. Cannot help. I'm waiting to buy some new models. Good luck!

Is it worse taking it in for service & repair?
