Looking out from the dawn of the civilian drone industry, we feel that it is important to show how this technology is used for much more than warfare and surveillance. Through art shows and public speaking engagements, we are attempting to show the world a new meaning to the word "drone" and remove some of its negative associations.

Post by: Jim Pascoe on February 25, 2014, 05:04:58 am: A complicated way of taking lots of poor pictures. There are a few reasonable shots in the Portfolio, but most are dull to say the least.

Interestingly I saw a similar drone out shooting pictures along the local seafront at Milford on Sea (UK) after a terrific storm had lashed the area destroying many concrete beach huts. It led me to think that there use will probably increase dramatically in the next few years - this was a private photographer as far as I could tell. It will be interesting to see how quickly they are constrained by law.
