Title: Growing in the soup
Post by: Larry Heath on November 18, 2013, 06:04:25 pm
I was over at Ollie’s pond the tail end of last month and I can’t seem to decide if I like this shot. Thought and comments kindly solicited.

Go nearer or crop I'd say.
Its a lovely motive worth trying.

I agree.  For this image I'd do a landscape crop of the top of the frame.  But then I'm not a big fan of OOF foreground elements that don't add anything to the image.  :)

the log (?) with the growing plant under this light are excellent. The OOF branck/stick in the foreground, not so much, for me.

I think there was some good advice here. So I did a bit of reworking. I think I like this one a good bit better.
