It takes a shark-riding, bear-wrestling, bare-chested, real man like Putin to stand up for the rights of us, real photographers ;)

There is an official PRESS ACCREDITATION PROCEDURE (http://www.olympic.org/accred2014) for the XXII OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES SOCHI. At a cost of Bn$51 they would be foolish not to have tight controls on the media. I'm sure the 2800 photographers at the games would be grateful for the protection of their rights.

So how is the Chicago Sun-Times going to cover the winter Olympics?

Are they going to ban gay and lesbian photographers too?

I seem to recall, that some well known photojournalists also used their phones at the recent UK Olympics.
