Strange mushrooms.
Which framing do you prefer?
Hope you enjoy.

I vote for the second. It features the mushrooms and minimizes the distracting branch just above the stump, which is why I prefer the horizontal version even though the mushrooms themselves seem to ask for a vertical orientation.

Fascinating but difficult subject. Get closer?

I agree, I would try to get closer and avoid the background clutter. Image #2 comes close.

Will try tomorrow ;) ;)

More sun today ;) ;)

#5 That's the one! Interesting fungus, by the way.

I like the new one. I'd still be tempted to crop down from the top to eliminate the background above it, which I find distracting. With that part gone, I think it really shows the mushrooms nicely.

I would also crop the top part but in general, it's the best of the bunch.

Closer! ;) The central 25% is more interesting.

One little mushroom, it' not a cactus ;) ;)
Hope you will like it.

I'm so disappointed, :D I thought it was a baby saguaro.
Well, I like it even if it's only a mushroom. The "serrated" background is also interesting.
