SW Michigan ain't Aspen but you can still get some nice colors (for a short period though).

#4 for me!

You certainly can. I'm torn between ##2 and 4.

Few more. Btw at least one from the previous post is ooc jpeg from the Fujifilm X-E1. I was using the Astia simulation and I didn't know why people were so much in love with the jpegs for the outdoors. Switched to Velvia and my previous shots look desaturated :o

Number 2 from the first batch.
Best light, best colors.

I like #2 and #3 for these last ones.

That's an ooc jpeg from the Fuji. The colors are very good, the main reason to shoot raw is for highlight recovery but then I waste a lot of time trying to match the colors from jpeg, usually without success.

Indeed.

I always shoot RAW, but how does bracketing with jpeg do? Enough dynamic range with only 8 bits?

Don't know, I didn't process the jpegs from Fuji besides cropping and brightness, and I rarely bracket.
Here are few more ooc jpegs from the same session. First still had the Astia profile, the rest are with Velvia. The WB tends to be excellent, I almost never adjust it in LR (had to in Capture One)
