Anyone got one of these yet? Looks like a no-brainer to me.

Kind regards,

Gerald.

Hello,

I use the the gel stick on my Nikon D800 cameras and it does a great job of removing duct and grease spots.

Cheers

Simon

Quite frankly, I do not see the point for medium format backs, who can be removed and where the CCD is easy to access to be dusted with a blower.

As to the sticky cube on a stick, I bought a similar system years ago. It is called "SpeckGrabber" from Kinetronics. I used it once and found out it left greasy marks where it removed the dust specks. It cost me another trip to the photo shop and a wet clean kit. I never used it since.

Since that time, I exclusively use a hand blower, shown below. I find it does the job just fine.

The only drawback is that it looks like a cross between an adult toy and a medical device. But you don't have to show it to your friends.

I've been using a rocket blower, just like Jerome mentioned

Have had some interesting comments when flying with it though, for somewhat obvious reasons ;). Hence why I got the red version, so it looks more like a toy, and easier to find on a semi-cluttered desk :D!
