Title: Birds

The fall swarm in preparation for migration.  Definitely not up to Glenn Bartley's standards.
Thanks for looking.

I very much like the second image, although I'm not a fan of starlings. Great capture.

Quite interesting shots. Especially #3, where you managed not to crop any birds in the borders of the frame, not easy!

Love them all but #2 is my preferred photo. The first photo is like a massive landing but the second photo resembles a modern ballet. I like the third one too. It is more graphic.

You may not be Glen Bartley but you have a different style and you've done an excellent job!

Thanks all for the comments. :)

Paulo - you give me more credit than I am due.  I cloned out the birds that weren't completely in the frame on #3.  I left them in the other two shots with the idea of trying to convey movement into the frame.  I think that was only partially successful.  One thing that becomes apparent in #2 is that the apparent order of the flock is pretty chaotic in detail.

Wow - great observation, Paulo. I think #3 is the best of the bunch. Great job!
