FYI:
http://www.octoink.co.uk/products/CLI%252d42-Chip-Resetter-for-Canon-Pro%252d100.html?setCurrencyId=1
Expected release date is Oct 21, 2013.
I've read speculation about the CLI-42 having a "fusible link" within the cartridge's chip, which might limit the number of times a cart could be reset. Hope not.

Thanks for the heads up.

Chip re-setter for Canon Pixma Pro 100:

seems to work fine - multiple re-sets seem to be possible (no problems yet).

Thanks for the follow-up.
Would you (or another helpful person on this forum who actually has the Pro-100 and the RedSetter) be willing to go past "seems" to "works for me"? That would be greatly appreciated.
I hope it isn't asking too much, but would you (or someone else) be willing to "close the loop" by doing the test described in subsequent posts in the same dpreview thread:

Thanks!

Over at DP Review J. Toolman has replied to your concerns rather well...he seems to be an honest and wise player - I would accept his opinion...

Just got the resetter in yesterday. Worked perfectly- takes about 2 seconds.
Printer now displays these as full cartridges.
