I have a 7600 that clogged up and I could never fix it. I replaced it with a canon 8300 a couple of years ago and it is just sitting. (I tried the "puddling the cap" routine but never got it fixed, so I guess it needs a pump or new head).
Would you just haul it to the dump, or would it be worth offering parts off it before I haul the carcass away? It's taking up a lot of space up a lot of space.

Donate it to an IT school in our area. They might like to tear it apart.
Get them to write a receipt for a couple of hundred bucks for the donation.

Could you replace the head ? They're roughly ~$350 for your model.

Donating it is a good idea if I can locate a school that may want it.
It may need a new head, but it could slo need a new pump, or something else. I have a Canon 8300, so I am tierd of messing with the Epson.

If the head is not completely blocked, rework the printer to be used only for applying gloss optimizer (GO) ala jone cone piezography?
World's largest and most effective door stop? ;)

Black only?
