Title: Life on the rocks - SW Portugal
Post by: Paulo Bizarro on September 06, 2013, 04:49:22 am
Some photos trying to show more of a detailed approach of natural subjects. The first one is on consolidated coastal sand dunes (with ferruginous cement); the second one is on a more deserted beach nearby.

Third shot shows the beach where the second photo was taken. I was lucky the weather was foggy, preventing dark shadows. All taken with Fuji XE-1 and 18-55 lens.

Kind regards.

I love the first two shots. Vegetation and life in general can be really resistant and prosper in tough environment. I also like the color contrast between the rocks and the plants.
The third image is more classical but with a good far/near composition.

All good. Especially #2 for the contrasts and clean composition.

The third didn't do much for me, but I like the first two.

Thanks for the feedback.

Ref. #3, I only included it to provide some context for #2, it shows the beach where the #2 photo was taken.
